Mengajarkan pendidikan finansial pada anak sangat penting, karena jika tidak maka anak akan belajar dari lingkungan yang belum tentu baik untuknya. Ada orang tua yang tidak mau untuk mengajarkan hal tersebut, karena takut anaknya menjadi “matre”. Padahal karena tidak diajarkan, maka anak tidak punya filter mana baik dan buruk.
Pendidikan finansial pada anak sangat berkaitan dengan pola asuh orang tua. Jangan harap bisa instan, perlu proses dan orang tua pun harus ikut berubah.
